Do Good for Business

engaging employees in sustainability

Do Good for Business engages employees through friendly team competition that motivates and rewards them for doing good.

Through simple behaviour changes around travel, waste, energy and food habits, employees can drive energy and financial savings, whilst saving time and improving their own health and well being.

Our platform can be used for collecting green pledges for environment days and green weeks - as well as encouraging more lasting action on sustainability.  We pride ourselves on our tool's simplicity, measurability, and its record for inspiring real, long term behaviour change.

"Our experience with The DoNation was inspiring, compelling and really turbo-charged our CSR effort. It has inspired individuals, pulled teams together in competition and made Added Value feel like a better place to work" - Hazel at Added Value.

Why is employee engagement important?

Research shows that now, more than ever, people care about the type of company they work for. 80% of 13-25 year olds want to work for a company that cares about it's impact. In addition, employees who have the opportunity to make an impact on social or environmental issues on the job are more satisfied than their colleagues who don't, by almost a 2:1 ratio.

Getting employees engaged in the place they work can be great for keeping a happy workforce and attracting new talent. What's more, it can have significant financial benefits: each year, companies in the UK lose £300 million through employees avoidable energy use and waste.
