Hackney City Farm: Put solar panels on the Pig Pen

Our pigs would sleep even easier if they knew their water was pumped with electricity generated from the sun. Larry the donkey would look (just a little) less sad if he could peek out of his pen and spot the solar panels in the farmyard.

And we think that it is not just the animals in the yard that want to benefit from clean green energy, but also the human creatures that visit and work on our farm.

But we need to know that you really want this too. To let us know click on make a pledge on the right and select an action that you will carry out for 2 months in order to reduce youre own CO2 emissions.

If all of you collectively pledge to reduce your CO2 by 1671 kg, and we reach our target, then we will install the solar panels with help from our friends at UK Payments.
