Sponsorship through action, not cash
Money isn’t always the best way to make a difference. With The DoNation, you can help tackle some of the greatest challenges of our time – health, climate change, and sustainability - without parting with a penny.
We help you to raise pledges or make pledges to do 'DoActions' – and to turn those pledges into real and meaningful change.

Climbing a mountain, running 5k, or doing a sponsored silence? Whatever you’re doing, it’s a great opportunity to inspire change. Through asking your friends and family to sponsor your challenge with simple actions, you get the motivation of their support, whilst they get the feel-good factor of doing something good (they might even save a little cash or improve their health). And the planet wins too.
Plus, each month we give our Doer of the Month a year's supply of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream - what's not to like?!
1. Create your Do Page (aka sponsorship page) - click ‘Start raising DoActions’ on your profile page (our handy video explains how you do it).
2. Share it with your friends, family and colleagues
3. They make a pledge from the menu of DoActions, committing to do it for two months
Ten top tips for raising sponsorship
Making a pledge
Make a difference to the world whilst spurring on your friend, without having to touch your credit card. You might even save some money, lose some weight, or save yourself some time whilst you’re at it. What’s not to like?
1. Find someone to support: search for a friend in the box above or browse all pages.
2. Choose a DoAction: find one in the list that suits your lifestyle, there’s something for everyone.
3. Two months of Doing: you only commit to 'do' for two months, what happens after that is up to you.
