Rad Reflections

Radiators are great things. They keep us warm during the winter months and make those long, cold days a bit more bearable. Unfortunately, they are also energy black holes, pushing up our bills and wasting a lot of our much-valued heat on the empty wall behind. It’s you who needs all that lovely heat, not the wall.

Reflective foil (although it may not sound it) is really rather cool. Slipping some reflective foil behind your radiator acts like a mirror, which reflects the heat back into your radiator, which then goes into the air (where it’s really needed!), making your home warm and snuggly without too much extra cost.
