Step up

Lift yourself up the stairsDoers doing this DoAction have pledged to save: 4550 kg CO2

Spread the news

Step up to the challenge and ditch the lift for two months.

By taking the stairs you not only save yourself from those awkward elevator moments and earn yourself a bottom like J-Lo, but you also save lift-loads of carbon.

So get those leg muscles in action, step up!

Why?

Climate change

By ditching the lift each day you could save a notable 60kg CO2 over a year1, equivalent to boiling 10 cups of water every day2!

Health

Stairs are great exercise; in fact, they’re so good that some genius decided to simulate them in the gym.

A Harvard University study even found that climbing at least 8 flights a day could lower mortality rate by 33%3.

A 15 sec

lift journey uses as much energy as a 60W light bulb does in an hour4!

How?

This one is quite easy, look for the stairs and take ‘em.

Although these guys seemed to find it rather challenging...
