The DONOPOLY Challenge

What?

Navigate your way between the landmarks of the nation’s favourite board game, traveling by bike, foot, or any other man-powered means.  It’s about 15 miles.

Take photos of you at each location, ideally with a Monopoly prop in hand – a dog, top hat, boat, iron etc…

And, it goes without saying, raise sponsorship for it. Ask your friends to support you through the challenge by doing a DoAction rather than giving money.

The landmarks:

You must visit and take photos of:

• The 24 streets
• The 4 stations
• Plus the rest (using your imagination!): jail, community chest, water works, electric company, free parking, super tax, and chance.

Why?

To be a part of Climate Week, to have some fun, and to inspire your friends to start Doing. And maybe even to discover some sights of London.

Where and when?

Anytime between 4^th and 10^th March 2013. Although if you’d rather do it at a different time, there’s nothing to stop you!

Start anywhere you like, at whatever time you like. We’ll be waiting at a pub near The Strand (TBC) from 2pm to cheer you as you finish.

Prizes!!!

We'll be giving a £15 FairShare music voucher to the individual or team who raises the most sponsorship and takes the most amusing or creative photos during Climate Week. See here for more info.

What next:

1. Recruit a team (or go solo if you so wish)
2. Set up a Do challenge page (sign up or sign in to your account and hit ‘add new challenge’).
3. Start raising sponsorship, tell everyone about it.
4. Plan your route (this handy OS Monopoly map might help!), grab your camera, and GO! (There’s no £200 as you pass GO I’m afraid…)
